The Tie & Dye technique is used on our Batik “Kangaroo” Cross body by hand, directly onto the leather to create our signature stamp which has become distinguished to the Daraja Identity. The assembling is then passed on to the local artisans & handcrafted with love.

 

The Daraja brand prides itself in being an authentic African brand that embraces its African identity and practices. Using sustainable methods by working with female tanners & locally producing halal recycled leather via a process known as vegetable tanning.
